With the help of Twitter sensation and former X Factor star Jack Remmington, Tinder has collaborated with five artists – Dom&Ink, Ashton Attzs, Andrew Ahern, Artist Named Nobody and Kxmolo – to recreate 10 of the GOAT memes as gifs to help LGBTQ+ singles spark meaningful connections with matches this Pride and beyond.
“I’m constantly in awe of the imagination and tenacity of the LGBTQIA+ community – working alongside so many phenomenal creatives has been really eye-opening and so blooming fun,” noted Remmington.
“Among us all, we know the power of memes when dating and so I think it’s amazing that Tinder is offering us more ways to spark a conversation and vibe check a match, through a language we get and love. We felt totally centered in this campaign, and I think it really shows in the outcome.“

Choosing the memes for the campaign was down to a panel made up of some of the most influential figures from the LGBTQ+ community, namely Bailey J Mills, Emile Morgan, Tori West, Mrs Potato Queen, Tanya Compas, Mishti Ali, Charlie Craggs, Remi Burgz and Ryan Lanji.
According to the dating app, a gif is sent every two seconds between matches in the UK and eight in 10 people from the LGBTQ+ community have revealed that humor is important when making the first move.
To coincide with the campaign, Tinder will make a donation to Raze Collective, an NGO that helps create cultural opportunities for LGBTQ+ artists.
