Media.Monks extends merger frenzy with the absorption of Maverick Digital
The tie-up brings immediate gains for Media.Monks in the form of expanded data and digital capabilities, and boosts its fast-growing Salesforce capabilities at a stroke.
Founded in 2018 by Belal El-Harazin, Chicago-based Maverick Digital has built a name for itself as a specialist in harnessing the cloud services and products offered by Salesforce, working with clients including Mercy Health, Madison Square Garden and The Chicago Blackhawks.
In tandem with this announcement, it has been confirmed that Scott Jamieson, former president at Vigorate Digital Solutions, has been handed the task of further enhancing these specialisms in the newly-created role of global vice-president Salesforce practice.
Jamieson said: “We are well-positioned to disrupt traditional agency thinking with a model that allows Salesforce to be integrated seamlessly into data-driven marketing strategies at scale.”
Sir Martin Sorrell, executive chairman at parent company S4 Capital, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Belal, Carlos and their colleagues as we expand our relationship with Salesforce, providing services around its various clouds in the key US market and beyond.”
Earlier this year Media.Monks brought Italian content marketing agency Miyagi under its wing.
S4 Capital rebranded its 24 agencies as Media.Monks in August, placing the digital advertising and marketing services firm center stage following its acquisition in 2008.
